Mr. Hodgkinson was a truly unique personality whose teaching methods were as well. He is one of the few teachers, I still remember clearly, because he was something else. Strict, funny, a genius with a touch of madness, and kind.
If it wasn't for him, I would have never learned the irregular verbs (that I still have nightmares about sometimes) and I would have never become passionate about the English language... or Scotland.
The world got a bit darker without him and it makes me incredibly sad to never get the opportunity for another one of his corny jokes.
