I'm so sorry for your loss.
I never got to spend much time with Oma. I remember sending her cards when I was young and my Tante Sussanah translating them into German. I remember visiting when I was in 1st grade and staying at her house. I loved breakfasts there the best, the hard rolls and all the fixings. Her spaghetti sauce was delicious, better than the one I had at home. I am very grateful for the little time I got to spend and interact with her, though we spoke two different languages and communication was hard.
I wish the best for everyone in this difficult time and may Oma rest in peace.
